England's Jonathan Trott and James Anderson have risen to second place in the International Cricket Council (ICC) Test rankings respectively after their side's 196-run win over India at Lord's.
Trott has climbed two places, above India's Sachin Tendulkar and Sri Lanka's Kumar Sangakkara, to second spot in the batting rankings, after innings of 70 and 22 during the 2000th Test in history, which was also the opening game of a four-match series.
Anderson's seven-wicket haul in the match, including his 11th five-wicket Test return of five for 65 in the second innings, saw him overtake team-mate Graeme Swann in the bowling rankings.
Meanwhile, England fast bowler Chris Tremlett went into ninth place on the back of his four wickets at Lord's.
